Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) Calculations and EPCs

Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) is the recognised method for measuring a residential dwelling’s CO2 Emissions and produces an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for the building.

All new residential buildings must have a SAP Assessment carried out prior to commencement of works to comply with Building Regulations Part L1A - New Dwellings.

Our accredited Energy Assessors can carry out SAP Assessments for new dwellings (L1A) and existing dwellings (L1B) in accordance with Building Regulations Part L 2010 (SAP 2009) and 2013 (SAP 2012).

With a fast turnaround available, we can assist you in achieving an energy efficient building that demonstrates compliance with all Part L requirements. Energy Acoustics can also provide an Air Tightness Test for your dwelling at the end of construction to complete the SAP Calculation and produce your EPC.

Should your residential development also require Sound Insulation Testing, we can provide a Part L & Part E compliance package to help reduce your costs.
