Monitoring Noise Compliance

Energy Acoustics carry out all noise assessments in order to demonstrate compliance with the Noise at Work Regulations 2005.

Any industry where employees are required to work in increased levels of noise are affected by Noise at Work Regulations including, since 2008, the music and entertainment industry such as restaurants and nightclubs.

A noise at work assessment involves measuring all noise levels within the workplace, correcting these to levels experienced for an equivalent 8 hour working day, and comparing the levels to exposure limits and action values as specified in the regulations.

Our noise consultants will then produce a comprehensive noise assessment report with recommendations where necessary for reductions in noise exposure of employees or suitable hearing protection.
